Patient Registration & Demographic Entry

Verify whether patient is a new patient or an established patient.

New Patient – A new patient is a person who has not received any service from the healthcare provider or any other provider of the same specialty in the same group practice within last 36 months.

New patient account needs to be created in provider PMS (Practice Management System)

Enter the entire patient demographic including personal & contact information.

Patient referral

Collection of patient health history

Collection of all patient insurance information

Once all the information has been entered in the system a unique account will be created and assigned to the patient.

Established Patient – An established patient is a person who has been seen within last 36 months by the healthcare provider or any other provider of the same specialty of the same group provider.
-
Need to verify and validate the patient demographic information already available in the system.

Also, needs to verify the patient’s current insurance coverage information.
